Sophie Arseneault, Healthcare Outreach Advisor


Sophie Arseneault is currently pursuing her undergraduate degree in International Development at McGill University, with a concentration in social determinants, sustainable healthcare systems for population and public health, and health equity in sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) and accessibility.


She is currently involved in several organizations, as a research assistant in the study of reproductive health for women with rheumatic diseases; a peer educator with McGill’s Office for Sexual Violence Response, Support, and Education (OSVRSE); a sexual health education coordinator with McGill’s ’Sex & Self’ initiative; and a policy coordinator with the International Relations Students’ Association of McGill (IRSAM) Delegation with consultant status to the UN Economic and Social Council. Through her position at CAWI, Sophie will be facilitating the access to community resources in mental, sexual, and otherwise physiological health services for all immigrating women.
